RMSP 1847: Cover, no side flaps, addressed to Paris with circular "AMER. SUD / PANAMA" datestamp of the French P.O. in Chagres in red (Nov 22, 1843 - erroneous) and on obverse with Consular "PANAMA" circular datestamp (Nov 22, 1843 erroneous) in red. Thence carried on the RMSP "Thames" to Bermuda and the "Severn" to Southampton with 'Angl. / Boulogne' entry marking (Jan 4, 1848) in red and rated '35' décimes to pay.
