    1886 (Feb): New Dies. 1 c. scarlet on yellowish, perf. 13½, a used vertical pair with sheet margin at top (positions 1 / 11), on 1886 cover endorsed "pr. Poste" to Jacmel tied by neat "Les Cayes / Haiti" circular datestamps (March 2) in black. A superb and rare local usage between outlying towns and the earliest recorded usage of this stamp on cover.
